What is Teaching Our Kids?

Teaching Our Kids (TeachingOurKids.com) is a website that features (mostly) free teaching resources and craft tutorials for parents and educators. Some of the content has been created by us and some of it has been submitted by others. 

Please note that there are no actual freebie/product files (that we do not own) stored on TOK, and we do not accept direct links to those files (unless the original creator wants us to). Each resource has a link (the blue button below the description) that will take you to the content creator's website.

We love helping educators promote their freebies, giveaways, deals, and craft tutorials, so take a moment and submit a link to your post and we'll share it on our social media. Each approved submission also goes out in the TOK newsletter.

If you feel that an image has been submitted to our site that shouldn't have been, please contact me and we'll remove it as soon as possible. 

Can I share your images and posts on my website?

You're welcome to share on your blog/website only posts that were created by, or for, Teaching Our Kids. That means that anything on our blog and any freebies or crafts that are tagged with "Teaching Our Kids" can be linked to. You're also allowed to use one image only from each of those posts. Please do not link directly to the downloadable freebie/craft files.

How do I submit a curriculum review?

To submit a curriculum review, please do the following:

  • Log in by clicking on "Log in" in the menu at the top of the page. If you're not a registered user, click on "Create new account". You'll have to click on a link sent to you in an email to complete the registration.
  • Once logged in, click on "Curriculum Reviews" in the top menu.
  • Search for the curriculum you'd like to review. If it's not on the list then click on the "Submit a Curriculum" button on that page. 
  • If you've found the curriculum then click on the image/title, and then click on the "Write a review" button on that page.
  • When you're done writing your review, click on the "Save" button.

How do I submit a website review?

To submit a website review, please do the following:

  • Search for the website you'd like to review. If it's not on the list then click on the "Submit a website" button on that page.

How do I submit a giveaway?

To submit a giveaway, please do the following:

  • Click on "Giveaways" in the top menu.
  • Click on the "Submit a giveaway" button.

Please note that we accept giveaways on family-friendly sites only. Affiliate links from other sites will not be accepted. 

How do I submit a deal/sale?

To submit a deal, please do the following:

  • Click on "Deals" in the top menu.
  • Click on the "Submit a deal" button.

How do I submit a freebie?

To submit a freebie, please do the following:
