Make a Pretty 3D Flower Card
For this project you will need:
- construction paper (purple and green)
- cardstock paper (orange)
- glue stick and craft glue
- pink Easter grass or scrunched up tissue
- paper scissors
- pencil
- small cardboard circle or a circular object
- black marker
Step 1 – Fold the card paper in half and trace the circle. The circle is just a guide, it represents the center of the flower and will make things a little easier when attaching the purple paper strips.
Step 2 – Cut out purple strips of construction paper. The number will depend on the circle size.

Step 3 – Apply glue to the center of the circle and one end of each purple paper strip. Hold each paper strip for 2-3 seconds for the glue to bind and then glue the strip to the center and repeat.
Step 4 – Apply more glue on top of the purple paper strips.
Step 5 – Place Easter grass on top of the glue in the center and press lightly.
Step 6 – Now it’s time to create the stem. Cut a green paper strip and using a glue stick glue in the center of the card going from the bottom to underneath the purple strip part of the flower.
Step 7 – Next, cut two leaves out of green construction paper. You can use the same color as you used for the stem or use a lighter green.
Step 8 – Outline the stem and leaves with a thin black marker. And you’re done!
